An Evening with Andrea McArdle is a brand new show (playing through October 14 at Feinstein's/54 Below) that celebrates The Great American Songbook, Broadway and contemporary music. Broadway royalty Lee Roy Reams returns to Feinstein's/54 Below (October 6-7) with a brand new show celebrating his time with the legendary Broadway musical 42nd Street! Lee Roy originated the role of Billy Lawlor in the Tony Award-winning musical and will regale audiences with glorious songs and outrageous stories from this time. From 'Lullaby of Broadway' to 'We're In The Money' and from David Merrick to Gower Champion, this is a view of 42nd Street like none other.

In 2018, Joe's Pub at The Public will launch The Vanguard Residency, a new award and yearlong monthly series that celebrates the work and influence of an icon of American popular culture but also responds to the music industry's diminishing revenue streams by offering a grant of $50,000. The inaugural recipient of this award is Grammy Award-nominated, art- and funk-rock pioneer Nona Hendryx, who is honored for her career as a performer, producer, writer, curator and mentor. Hendryx dedicates the series to fearlessness, revolution (creative and cultural), freedom of expression and innovation; the things that have defined her own career.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the new Broadway production of J. B. Priestley's Time and the Conways, directed by Tony winner Rebecca Taichman (Indecent). Time and the Conways returns to Broadway for the first time since its premiere in 1938.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, actor Barry Dennen, perhaps best known for his portrayal of Pontius Pilate in both the original Broadway and film versions of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, passed away this morning in Burbank, CA where he was in hospice care. According to close friend Lucy Chase Williams, the actor had suffered a brain injury after a fall at home in June. He was 79.

The Dramatists Guild Foundation celebrated the work of musical writing team Scott Frankel, Michael Korie, and Doug Wright at a salon co hosted by the CORE Club on Monday, September 25. The trio spoke about the creation of their musical War Paint in a panel discussion led by Vanity Fair special correspondent, Amy Fine Collins.

Emmy winner John Leguizamo (Ghetto Klown) will make his highly-anticipated return to Broadway this fall in his original one-man comedic play Latin History For Morons, direct from his acclaimed engagements at The Public Theater and Berkeley Repertory Theater.
